KINGDOM LEGACY
FOOTBALL
ASSOCIATION
The Trenches Don’t Retire You.
A professional home built by legends, for legends — where the roster is respect earned in the pit, the schedule respects what the game already took from your body, and the game is a platform for what comes after the game.
The Gap
The game takes everything. Then it gives you a jersey retirement and a handshake.
Every year, players who built their franchises with their bodies walk away from the NFL carrying more discipline, more leadership, and more physical cost than almost any athlete in professional sports — and what’s waiting for most of them is a broadcast booth seat, if they’re lucky, and silence if they’re not.
Kingdom Legacy Football Association starts somewhere else. Not a flag-football novelty circuit, not a reunion tour — a real, structured league built around legacy, brotherhood, and purpose, with football as the platform, not the whole point.
“The game asked everything of you for a decade. We’re building the institution that owes you something back.”
The Kingdom Difference
Three pillars, not a marketing line.
Every franchise, every game day, and every player agreement is built around these — they're the filter for every decision the league makes.
Legacy
Roster spots are earned reputation, not a combine number. Every franchise is anchored to players whose names already mean something to the territory they represent.
Brotherhood
Chaplaincy, mentorship, and financial stewardship are built into every franchise’s operating structure — the same locker-room bond that got you through Sundays, now built into how the league runs.
Purpose
Snap count is the platform, not the ceiling. Ownership stakes, media roles, coaching pathways, and ministry and mentorship access are built in from a player’s first season.
How It Works
A league built to be owned, not just watched.
The structure in brief — full financials, medical framework, and timeline are in the deck.
Franchise — Territory-anchored teams
Franchises are sold into every territory in the league, with a player-ownership pathway so legends can hold equity in the region they represent — not just a helmet decal. Original teams that license us their name and colors are welcomed as partners, capped at 20% equity in that franchise; the rest belongs to the players who represent it, the city it plays in, and the Kingdom it was built to serve. In this league, the first shall be last, and the last shall be first.
Season — Lighter, territory-based format
A shorter, lower-impact calendar built around showcase weekends and reduced-contact formats rather than a 17-game grind — respecting the bodies and long-term health of players who already paid the physical cost once.
Health & Stewardship — Built in, not bolted on
Every founding franchise agreement includes long-term health monitoring, cognitive health resources, and financial stewardship support as core league infrastructure — not a benefits afterthought.
Revenue — Franchise sales, merch, media, sponsorship
Founding franchise sales fund launch; ongoing revenue comes from league and team merchandise, media/broadcast rights, and sponsorships aligned with the league’s values.
Governance — Independent, then in dialogue
KLFA is built to stand on its own first — proving the model with players, fans, and sponsors — before pursuing any formal relationship with the NFL or its retired-players association.
For the Players
What you're actually being invited into.
This is written for the retired players reading it first — before it's written for anyone else.
Equity, not just a check
Founding players are offered a path to ownership stake in a franchise, held jointly with the league’s Kingdom mission — not a one-off appearance fee.
A platform that keeps your name working
National visibility, media appearances, and a fanbase that already respects what you gave to the game.
Brotherhood built into the structure
Chaplaincy, community, and mentorship access are part of the league’s operating model — the locker room didn’t end when the pads came off.
A schedule and a medical framework that respect what the game already cost you
Reduced-contact, showcase-format calendar with health monitoring built in, not a full NFL travel-and-hit grind.

Founding tier franchises carry first rights to expansion-team participation and a permanent seat in league governance. Expansion tier opens once the Founding Era slate is fully placed. Every market in the league is represented — the first shall be last, and the last shall be first: Founding and Expansion tier franchises stand as equals in ownership and voice. Teams that license us their official name and colors receive a discount on their franchise fee, capped at 20% equity in that franchise — the rest belongs to the players who represent it, the city it plays in, and the Kingdom it was built to serve.
For Investors & League Partners
Capital with a conscience, and a seat at the table.
Founding players are the heart of Kingdom Legacy Football Association — but they don't build a league alone. We're opening a limited number of positions for aligned capital and partners who want to help build the institution, not just sponsor a broadcast.
Founding Investors
Capital partners who fund franchise launches and league infrastructure in exchange for equity, governance visibility, and priority access to future KLFA and Kingdom LegacyLeagues ventures. Investment is structured to sit alongside player ownership, never above it.
League & Media Partners
Broadcast, sponsorship, and merchandise partners who want to be part of the league’s founding story, not just its highlight reel.
Founding Advisors
A small council of business, sports medicine, and ministry leaders advising on governance, player health, and long-term stewardship, without taking a seat in day-to-day operations.
Brand & Merchandise
A crest, not just a logo.
Every franchise carries a iron, gold, crest built on the same visual language — and the league's founding mark.
Franchise Crests
Territory-specific marks rooted in each franchise’s anchor players and regional identity, unified under the league crest.
Legacy Line
Apparel built around individual player eras and moments — sold direct and through franchise storefronts.
Game-Day Goods
Family-friendly merchandise for showcase weekends, designed for the arena and tailgate experience the league is building.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Kingdom Legacy Football Association affiliated with the NFL?
No. KLFA is an independent league built by and for retired players. We’re building the model to stand on its own first, with any formal relationship with the NFL or its retired-players association pursued later, from a position of proven strength — not licensed dependence.
Is this safe for players who already carry injury history?
Health and long-term cognitive stewardship are built into every founding franchise agreement, and the season format is reduced-contact and showcase-based by design — not a full-contact NFL replica.
Who can play?
Founding rosters are built from retired NFL players only, recruited individually as franchise anchors rather than through an open combine.
How does franchise ownership actually work?
